Important Tax Dates

Tax bills are mailed out by the Tax Collector's Office and the Property taxes become due and payable.  If paid in November, the taxes are discounted by 4%.

Assessment and valuation date for the Property Appraiser's Office. You must own the home on or before this date if you want to file  a homestead application for the current year. 

Exemption Application must be filed with the Property Appraiser's Office. 

Last date to pay taxes without penalty. 

Property Appraiser's Office mails out TRIM Notices (Notice of Proposed Property Taxes).  

Deadline to file Value Adjustment Board (VAB) petitions concerning value, portability, and late filing of exemption application. Date varies depending on each County.
